What is SNAP-8?
Like Argireline it is used in topical anti-expression-line research and as a SNARE-complex tool compound. The two are frequently compared head-to-head in formulation studies, and SNAP-8 is often chosen where maximum non-invasive SNARE modulation is the research goal. It is one of the most counterfeited cosmetic peptides because synthesis of the 8-mer with correct N-acetylation and C-amidation is non-trivial at low cost.
