Honest Peptide Review ("we", "us") operates honestpeptidereview.com, an independent review and price-comparison site for research-use-only (RUO) peptide suppliers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account data. When you register, we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's basic profile (name, email address, and Google user ID) via Google OAuth and use it only to create and secure your account. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data.
- Reviews and votes. Reviews you submit (rating, title, body) and helpful votes are stored and shown publicly under your display name after moderation.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address and subscription source. Every email contains an unsubscribe link.
- Contact messages. Name, email, and message content sent via our contact form.
- Usage analytics. With your consent (cookie banner), we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and engagement. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes pseudonymous identifiers and approximate device/location data under Google's own privacy policy.
- Local storage. We store interface preferences (age-gate confirmation, cookie consent, theme) in your browser's local storage; these never leave your device.

Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the processors needed to run the site: Google (sign-in and analytics), our email delivery provider (newsletter and transactional mail), and our hosting provider. Vendor outbound links are governed by those sites' own policies.
Retention & your choices
We keep account and review data while your account is active and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time via our contact form. You can decline analytics cookies via the cookie banner without affecting core site functionality.
Age restriction
This site is intended for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21.
