Retatrutide: Research Profile, Dosages & Supplier Prices

Triple agonist · Lyophilized vial (research) · Also known as: LY3437943, Triple G

Retatrutide is a triple agonist compound with a molecular weight of 4731.4 g/mol and a research half-life of approximately 6 days in published phase 2 pharmacokinetic data. Retatrutide is a triple receptor agonist peptide - activating GIP, GLP-1, and glucagon receptors - developed by Eli Lilly and currently in phase 3 clinical trials. Published phase 2 data (New England Journal of Medicine, 2023) showed the largest weight reduction recorded in a metabolic drug trial at that time, with the highest dose group averaging over 24% body weight reduction at 48 weeks.

What is Retatrutide?

Because retatrutide is not yet an approved drug, it exists only in the research market, which makes it both high-demand and high-risk for counterfeiting. Research interest focuses on triple-agonist pharmacology and the role of glucagon receptor activation in energy expenditure.

This is currently one of the most counterfeited research peptides. Any vendor selling retatrutide without batch-specific third-party mass spectrometry should be treated as suspect.

Mechanism of Action (Research Context)

Triple agonist at GIP, GLP-1, and glucagon receptors. Glucagon receptor activation is studied for increasing energy expenditure and hepatic fat metabolism in addition to incretin effects.

Retatrutide FAQ

No. As of the latest published information, retatrutide is in phase 3 clinical trials and is not approved anywhere. All retatrutide on the market is research-use-only material.
High demand, no approved supply channel, and an expensive complex synthesis create strong incentives for bad actors to sell underdosed or substituted product. Third-party COAs with mass spec are essential.
